Lorain County Commissioner Ted Kalo spent $759,000 in taxpayer money to spruce up his own offices while other county buildings were in need of repairs. At the time, Kalo told the Chronicle that his office’s new flat-screen television would allow him to "keep up with the daily news and March madness."
